You have questions, we have answers.
WHEN AND WHERE IS THE FEST?
The San Antonio Beer Festival happens on SATURDAY, OCT. 19, 2024 at Crockett Park, 1300 N. Main Ave.
WHAT TIME DOES THE FESTIVAL START, AND WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
VIP ticket holders can enter the park at 12 PM.
GA PLUS ticket holders can enter the park at 1 PM.
GA ticket holders can enter the park at 2 PM.
The festival ends at 6:30 PM and last call is at 6 PM.
Plan to arrive about 30 minutes before you want to enter, to give yourself time to park and to allow for entry lines. Be prepared with your valid photo ID (no guests under age 21 will be admitted, no exceptions), printed or digital ticket to expedite entry.
I CAN’T FIND MY EMAILED TICKETS, WHERE ARE THEY?
Your tickets are generally delivered shortly after purchase to the email address you provide. If you didn’t receive them, it may have been a typo of your email address during your purchase. If it’s been more than a few hours and you can’t find them, contact support@boldtypetickets.com and request a re-sent ticket confirmation.
CAN I PURCHASE MY TICKET AT THE DOOR?
General admission tickets will be available for purchase at the door beginning at 11 AM. VIP and GA PLUS tickets are sold out and no VIP tickets will be available for purchase.
There is a Purchase Tickets booth between the two festival entrances. We will take cash and credit card.
**Please note that day-of tickets will be sold for $50 at the gate and online.**
WHERE’S THE BEER LIST?
We thought you’d never ask. You can find the full beer list here, and use it on your mobile device to map your game-plan during the fest.
I’M A VIP TICKET HOLDER. WHERE DO I GET MY SWAG BAG AND SHIRT?
Upon entrance, you will receive your VIP wristband and lanyard, along with a sampling card and swag bag. Your t-shirt will be available for pickup in the VIP Pavilion (you’ll see the big red festival flags).
DO YOU OFFER DESIGNATED DRIVER TICKETS?
Designated Driver wristbands will be available for sale for $20 at the Purchase Tickets booth at the festival. DDs will not receive a sampling glass or cup.
WHY DON’T YOU OFFER UNLIMITED BEER SAMPLES WITH ADMISSION?
The state of Texas does not allow “unlimited tasting” events. The maximum amount of beer Texas allows to be sold at any one time is 24 ounces. We don’t like the 24oz limitation at a beer festival as much as you don’t, and that’s why we’re pricing additional sampling cards really low. The day of the festival, you’ll be able to purchase additional (12) 2oz sample cards for only $5! Legally we have to charge you something.
CAN I BRING MY CHILD?
Sorry, but no. Please make arrangements for all children prior to attending the festival. No one under the age of 21 will be permitted entrance to the event. This include infants. Anyone with a child will not be admitted, no exceptions.
IS THE FEST PET-FRIENDLY?
Yes, this year’s fest is dog friendly. Please note that you are responsible for your pup’s behavior and for cleaning up behind them.
WILL THERE BE ANY FOOD OR NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AVAILABLE?
Yes! There will be plenty of food vendors and trucks available, with a wide variety of food options available for purchase. Water will be available for purchase from the Beer Ticket Booths for $5.
Some vendors may choose to provide food or non-alcoholic beverage samples, and other non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase from our food truck vendors. Some trucks may take cash only.
WHAT ABOUT PARKING?
Crockett Park is a beautiful park right in the heart of Tobin Hill, a residential neighborhood. We highly encourage ride-sharing and riding your bike. Bike riders, we will have many bike racks onsite. There are several paid public parking lots nearby.
WHO BENEFITS FROM THE EVENT?
The San Antonio Beer Festival is a charitable event that benefits the San Antonio Food Bank. Please be sure to visit their tent at the fest and meet the awesome people who make a difference each day in our community!
WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE FESTIVAL?
The following items are prohibited:
- Outside food, drink, or alcoholic beverages
- Weapons (knives, pepper spray, any concealed weapons or firearms, etc.)
- Illegal drugs, chemicals, fireworks
- Backpacks, suitcases, coolers, or other large bags (however water packs, blankets and chairs are permitted)

CAN I TRANSFER MY TICKET TO SOMEONE ELSE?
Yes. The name on the ticket does not have to match your ID. Simply email the purchased ticket to your friend, and they can enter our festival, no problem. Once your ticket has been scanned at entry, however, it cannot be rescanned.
